Privacy at Lucca's Lab
For grown-ups. Plain language.
What we collect
- Your email address — only to sign you in (a magic link). No password.
- Your child's first name and age, and innocuous preferences they choose in the game (favorite color, animal, snack, and similar).
- Lesson progress, stars, and drawings your child saves.
What we never collect
No last names, addresses, schools, phone numbers, photos of your child, or precise location. The game never asks your child for private information, and the AI is instructed never to request or repeat it.
How we use it
Preferences personalize Lucca's greetings and the reward stories (e.g. a story featuring your child's favorite animal). Progress powers the parent dashboard. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
AI
Greetings, stories, and treats are generated by Anthropic's Claude using only the first name, age, and chosen preferences above. Read-aloud audio is generated by a text-to-speech service (or your browser's built-in voice).
Your control
From the parent dashboard you can turn AI off, turn narration off, and reset all progress and saved preferences at any time. Removing a child profile deletes its data.
